Juanita Ingram is breaking down barriers and empowering others as an award-winning attorney, filmmaker, author, fashion philanthropist, and actress. Currently living in Singapore, and formerly residing in London and Taiwan, she is also a wife, mother of two, and is the Founder and CEO of Purpose Productions Inc., a 501©3 women-led production company with a mission of creating content that celebrates authentic BIPOC narratives wile empowering women and youth through film. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Tennessee State University and her MBA and Jurist Doctorate degree from the University of Memphis. She is also the founder of Dress for Success Greater London and Dress for Success Chattanooga and the 2021 NAACP Ruby Hurley Image Award.

Juanita grew up performing in local Chattanooga Tivoli Theater productions and has several IMBD credits as an actress, and Indie film director, writer, and producer in the US, UK and Hungary. In 2019 she launched PURPOSE Productions as President & Founder producing two award-winning short films, BXAUTIFIUL NIGHTMARX and TABLXS and received numerous film festival awards. She is the creator, star, and EP of the multi-award winning and Emmy eligible smart-reality docu-series The Expats International Ingrams, which debuted with 2.3 million streams it’s the first month (Dec 2020) on Amazon Prime US & UK and is currently under distribution negotiations.

Juanita created a multi-cultural Christian children’s series – The Wonderfully Made Pals Presents which is a series of books with a mission of introducing the word of God to kids. The series currently includes Kind Kinsley, Wonderfully Made Wanita, Confident Keynan, and Generous Gregorio and her two newest additions- Heng and the Holy Spirit & Carisa’s Curls! She also published three Transforming Testimonies for Every Woman, and Fabulous, Faithful, & Free. In 2019 Juanita released Fabulous, Faithful & Free: The Workbook. It is an 8 week comprehensive guide to a journey of self discovery and reflection. Juanita recently finished an international multi-city book tour with Barnes and Noble. In 202 she released Peace over Panic – a 14-day e-devotional workbook offering tips to women and moms during the COVD-19 crisis with proceeds benefiting charity. She will release her latest book Heavy is the Head in Spring 2022.
As a Tennessee and Indiana licensed attorney with over 19 years of experience, Juanita has been organized by the Tennessee Supreme Court in 2018, 2019, and 2020 as an Attorney For Justice Award. She was also awarded the 2021 NAACP Ruby Hurley Image Award; awarded the Power Women in Law Award in 2016, received the Up and Coming Leadership in Law Award in 2007; and was named Top 40 under 40 in 2004. As an advocate for young girls and women, Juanita travels internationally speaking on various topics regarding female empowerment and self-worth; delivering motivational messages to women and children throughout the US, Europe & the UK. She has competed and won numerous regional and international pageant titles in the past (including Mrs. UK World 2011, Mrs. UK Universe 2013, Mrs. E-Vote 2013, Ms. World International 2012, and Mrs. Singapore Universe 2022) and was recognized by the Madame Noire publication as one of the Top 7 Black Women in Pageantry to turn Beauty into Business along with Halle Barry, Oprah Winfrey, and Vanessa Williams
Juanita uses her legal skills, philanthropic passion, business tenacity, and impeccable style as the Founder and current Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Dress For Success Greater London and Chattanooga; organizations that help disadvantaged women become economically independent by styling them and giving them interview attire, career training, ang on-going support. As a recognized Fashion Philanthropist, she skillfully uses fashion to empower women to succeed and thrive. She is also the creator of the Power of Women Celebration with Dress For Success Greater London which takes place annually during International Women’s Day in London and consists of an awards ceremony highlighting the achievements of inspirational women leaders; as well as a panel discussion of issues addressing women in the workplace.
